Weekly Physio is over….finally…

This is a major milestone for me. It has been exactly three months since surgery and I no longer have to go to physio. I will have to come back in three weeks to do a quick “orthotron” test to see how my repaired knee compares to my left good knee. This machine is meant to compare strength between both legs. The right leg is still not 100%, but is really close.

I still have a long road of conditioning ahead of me before I can really get back into sports. I have at least two months before I can start doing any kind of conditioning that would involve cutting and/or pivoting. It is important to note that it has to be introduced in a controlled environment, so I just can’t go out into the soccer field and start doing soccer drills. I have to start slow and in the gym.

However, I have been cleared for outdoor running, and once all streets are cleared, I could possibly start rollarblading too. I will wait until conditions are more favorable to rollarblading though and I can’t do it without using my ACL brace.

That is it for now….
