15 days after surgery

So here we are, 15 days after surgery and things are progressing as they should be. Most importantly, recovery is going really well. For starters, the knee is less swollen then it was one week ago, so it is starting to take the shape of a normal knee. Further more, my quadriceps are starting to get defined and am doing leg raises with 2 pound weights which is a good sign. I was also on the bike for 10 minutes for the first time today. The goal was to introduce motion into the knee and that goal was achieved.

Furthermore, I was given the go ahead to drive as well. So, I took the car for a little spin to see how it feels on the knee and so far, no issues.

I still have a long road in front of me to completely recover and get back into sports, but I think being able to move around is important.

That is it for now…..hope everything is doing well.
